Why does Data Matter? How do I get to the data?

Data provides us with the facts and the concrete information that we need to make well-informed decisions. LAUSD believes that when used correctly, data can help to make decisions about instruction and to monitor student growth and learning. LAUSD collects and reports an array of data. Most of the data can be accessed online throughout LAUSDnet. Thanks to this Data-Based Instruction Website, users will no longer have to explore or “dig” for data. All of the data systems in LAUSD are available here.
